Our story ## Ten years, _one dance at a time_ What started behind a DJ controller turned into a fascination with everything that makes a live event work: rigging, lighting, stage design and sound engineering. Lenawee County is still the foundation of the story, even as the crew rolls across the Midwest and beyond. ![W4 Entertainment 10 Year Anniversary emblem, established 2016](https://w4entertainment. com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/W4-Entertainment-10-Years-Anniversary-emblem-1024x1024. jpg) 1. 2016**The first dance**On September 23, 2016, Jacob Wilson, fresh out of high school and starting at Siena Heights University, DJs the Sand Creek High School homecoming dance with a small set of speakers. 2. 2018**W4 Entertainment LLC**The college side hustle becomes a company, incorporated in October 2018 and ready to grow into full-scale production. 3. 2020**Carried by community**When live events stop, the Siena Heights and Lenawee community keeps our lights on and our spirits intact. 4. 2023**Mask Audio joins**Adam Agge’s Mask Audio comes under the W4 umbrella, and the mobile DJ work becomes its own brand: DJ & Photo Booth Services. 5. April 2026**The Farewell Festival**Founder Jacob Wilson produces the Farewell Festival at Siena Heights University as its Director of Student Engagement, with W4 behind the show. National headliner Flo Rida plays the largest concert Lenawee County has hosted. Today**Home at the Armory**Our office and warehouse are in the historic Adrian Armory, in the heart of downtown Adrian. Ten years in, the goal is the same: More Humanity. Built in the 1920s as a National Guard armory, it is now the Adrian Armory Event Center, which we have the honor to manage. Its Drill Room is 5,375 square feet and seats up to 250 guests. Because the Armory is our home base, events hosted there get exclusive DJ and production package pricing.
